World’s largest shipper introduces N4m peak season surcharge on Indian imports

The Mediterranean Shipping Company has introduced a peak season surcharge of up to $3,000, equivalent to over 4.1 million Naira, on imports from India to Nigeria. This increase in shipping fees is expected to raise costs for local importers and consumers.
