WEMPCO Executives Face Contempt Proceedings in N61.45 Billion UBA Debt Dispute

United Bank for Africa Plc is pursuing recovery of an alleged N61.45 billion debt from Western Metal Products Company Limited. Nine individuals linked to WEMPCO face possible contempt proceedings over alleged interference with a court-appointed receiver-manager in proceedings before the Federal High Court in Lagos.
