Tony Elumelu to step down as UBA chairman, Nnorom named successor

United Bank for Africa Plc has announced that its Chairman, Tony Elumelu, will retire on August 21, 2026, following the completion of the Central Bank of Nigeria's mandatory twelve-year tenure limit for non-executive directors, with Nnorom named as his successor.
