TCN’s $1.4bn Funding Lifts Power Grid as Transformer Capacity Rises to 8,500MVA

TCN says $1.4 billion in funding has helped raise national transformer capacity to 8,500MVA, while vandalism, ageing infrastructure, manpower and logistics constraints remain sustainability risks. The Federal Government also reports that 60% of active electricity consumers nationwide have been metered.
