Tax swallows N1.13 trillion from Aradel, Seplat half-year profits

Aradel Holdings and Seplat Energy recorded a combined pre-tax profit of N1.54 trillion in the first half of 2026. Total income tax expenses amounted to N1.13 trillion, representing 73% of their combined pre-tax profit, according to the report.
