SEC Orders Capital Market Operators to Freeze Assets Traced to 9 Terrorism Financiers

The Securities and Exchange Commission has directed Nigerian capital market operators to freeze assets linked to nine terrorism financiers. The regulator also admitted blockchain technology into its accelerated regulatory incubation programme, covering developments relevant to capital-market compliance and emerging financial infrastructure.
