Sahara Power bets $12m on Lagos grid with new 12mw plant

Sahara Power Enterprise Group has committed $12 million to develop a 12 megawatt plant connected to the Lagos grid. The facility is expected to come online in the first quarter of 2027, adding planned generation capacity to Nigeria’s power infrastructure and providing sector context for NGX-listed utilities.
