Rising fuel imports could cripple local refineries – CPPE

The Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise warned that continued issuance of petroleum-product import permits without evidence of supply shortages could weaken Nigeria’s domestic refining sector. The group said unchecked imports might reverse progress in local refining and undermine investment in domestic petroleum production capacity.
