Petrol Climbs 55%, Kerosene Up 37%, Diesel Soars 86% In One Year

Nigeria experienced significantly elevated energy costs in May as the prices of petrol, kerosene, and diesel rose substantially compared to the previous year. Diesel recorded the sharpest annual increase of 86.4 percent, while petrol and kerosene rose by 55 percent and 37 percent respectively, compounding pressure on consumers and businesses.
