PenCom Records 143,248 New Pension Accounts In Q1

PenCom registered 143,248 new Retirement Savings Accounts in Nigeria during the first quarter of 2026, up 24.7 per cent from 114,864 accounts in the previous quarter. The increase raised cumulative registrations under the Contributory Pension Scheme, expanding the country’s formal retirement-savings base.
