NUPRC reaffirms sole oversight powers over host community funds

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission has reaffirmed its exclusive authority to monitor and control host community development funds under the Petroleum Industry Act. The commission also reported that 172 host community development trusts have been registered, reinforcing the regulatory framework governing upstream petroleum operations.
