United Bank for Africa Plc has announced that its Group Chairman, Mr. Tony O. Elumelu, CFR, will retire from the Board of Directors on August 21, 2026. This decision follows the completion of the 12-year tenure limit for non-executive directors set by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
