NNPC pays N6.2trn to FG in 6 months

NNPC Ltd. remitted N6.286 trillion to the Federation Account in the first half of 2026, according to its June financial and operations report. The disclosure also indicated concerns that statutory payments to the Federal Government may decline during the year, despite improved crude oil and natural gas production.
