Nigeria-UAE trade surges 66.7% to $5bn in 1 year

Nigeria-UAE bilateral trade increased 66.7% to approximately $5 billion in 2025 from $3 billion in 2024. The growth was disclosed as both countries move toward formalising a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, which could further shape trade and investment relations.
