Financial institutions submitted 41,716,214 Currency Transaction Reports to the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit in 2025. The disclosures covered commercial banks, other financial institutions, capital market and insurance companies, and virtual asset service providers, reflecting expanded monitoring of large transactions across Nigeria’s financial system.
