Nigeria’s Beef Demand To Hit 1.4m Tonnes As US Opens Meat Market

Nigeria’s beef consumption is projected to increase from 470,000 metric tonnes in 2015 to 1.4 million tonnes by 2050, according to the FAO. The country has also opened its market to a wider range of United States beef and pork products, increasing competition in the domestic meat market.
