Nigeria risks future mineral imports, geophysicists warn

Geophysicists have warned that Nigeria could become more dependent on imported minerals if strategic domestic deposits are not conserved. They called for a national mineral conservation policy, raising a regulatory and resource-management issue relevant to the operating environment for Nigeria’s natural-resources sector.
