Nigeria Moves To Take Control Of Data, AI Infrastructure With Sovereign Cloud

A multi-agency technical committee has been inaugurated to implement Nigeria’s National Sovereign Cloud Initiative. The programme aims to reduce duplication in public ICT spending, improve infrastructure utilisation and attract private investment into digital infrastructure, with potential relevance to Nigeria’s broader ICT sector and listed technology companies.
