Nigeria hits record $947m monthly remittances, nears $1bn target – CBN

Nigeria recorded $947 million in formal remittance inflows through International Money Transfer Operators in July 2026, according to the CBN. The figure was described as the highest monthly inflow through formal channels and brought total inflows to $3.8 billion, nearing the central bank’s $1 billion monthly target.
