Nigeria Gets N87.85bn from Niger, Togo, Benin as Discos’ Revenue Hits N2.3tn in One Year

Nigeria’s power sector received approximately N87.85 billion from international power buyers in Niger, Togo and Benin in 2025, while distribution companies generated N2.3 trillion in revenue over one year. International buyers recorded an 84.90% remittance rate, according to the report.
