NERC Hands Over Akwa Ibom Electricity Market Regulation to AKSERC

NERC has transferred regulatory oversight of Akwa Ibom State’s electricity market to the Akwa Ibom State Electricity Regulatory Commission. The transition follows provisions of the amended Constitution and the Electricity Act 2023, introducing a state-level regulatory framework for electricity-market activities in Akwa Ibom.
