NDIC Says Still Paying Depositors of 46 MFBs

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation says it is continuing payments of guaranteed deposits to customers of 46 microfinance banks whose licences were revoked by the Central Bank of Nigeria on July 1, 2026. The disclosure was made during a capacity development programme organised with the Bureau of Public Procurement.
