NDIC begins payout to depositors after CBN revokes licences of 46 microfinance banks

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation has commenced payouts to depositors of forty-six microfinance banks after the Central Bank of Nigeria revoked their operating licenses. The affected institutions have ceased operations and are no longer authorized to conduct banking business in Nigeria.
