NDIC begins liquidation, warns public after CBN closes 46 microfinance banks

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation has commenced the liquidation of forty-six microfinance banks following the revocation of their operating licences by the Central Bank of Nigeria. The corporation is conducting depositor verification to facilitate the payment of insured deposits.
