Naira weakens 0.85% to close at N1,381.70/$

The Nigerian naira weakened by 0.85 percent to close at N1,381.70 against the United States dollar. The depreciation occurred despite foreign exchange market interventions by the Central Bank of Nigeria and other prevailing market forces.
