Naira strengthens to N1,346.90/$ as weekly FX turnover doubles to $4.5 billion in one week

The naira appreciated 0.84% against the US dollar at NAFEM during the week, closing at N1,346.90/$ on Friday compared with N1,358.25/$ on August 14. Weekly foreign-exchange turnover reportedly doubled to $4.5 billion over the period.
