NAFDAC Seeks More Funding, 5,000 Additional Staff To Strengthen Regulation

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has requested increased federal funding and the recruitment of five thousand additional personnel to improve regulatory oversight across the country. Leadership stated that the current workforce is insufficient to effectively regulate the volume of consumer products nationwide.
