Nigeria’s insurance industry has received more than N750 billion in fresh capital after 48 underwriters met revised recapitalization requirements set by NAICOM. The exercise covered life, non-life and reinsurance companies, strengthening their capital bases and potentially expanding capacity to underwrite larger risks.
