N1.83TRN MARITIME REVENUE: Importers, agents kick over revenue targets, poor ports

Government agencies under the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy reportedly generated N1.83 trillion in 2025. Importers and licensed customs agents have criticised rising revenue targets and said port infrastructure and services have not improved proportionately, highlighting operating pressures within Nigeria’s maritime and trade environment.
