Inside Tinubu’s Plan to Cut Transport Fares

The Federal Government plans to reduce intra-state transport fares from October 1 by promoting Compressed Natural Gas and electric vehicles for commercial transport. If implemented, the policy could lower commuting costs and influence inflation, consumer spending and operating conditions across Nigeria’s transport services sector.
