Govt targets 4,000 locally assembled tractors annually

The Federal Government plans to establish a large-scale tractor assembly plant with annual production capacity of 4,000 units. The initiative is intended to support agricultural mechanisation, strengthen local manufacturing and improve food production, creating a potential policy and operating context for Nigeria’s agriculture and industrial sectors.
