FULL LIST: CBN revokes licences of 46 microfinance banks

The Central Bank of Nigeria has revoked the operating licences of forty-six microfinance banks due to their failure to meet regulatory requirements. The regulatory action, announced by the apex bank's acting director of corporate communications, took effect from July 1, 2026.
