FTSE Russell blocks Nigeria’s upgrade to new settlement cycle

FTSE Russell has blocked Nigeria's upgrade to a new settlement cycle. The country had previously faced a 30-month exclusion from frontier markets following currency devaluation and foreign exchange reforms before its reclassification in March.
