Food, Transport, Housing and Restaurants Drive 72% of Nigeria’s Inflation

Nigeria’s July inflation pressures were concentrated in food, transport, housing and restaurant services, which collectively accounted for 72% of overall price pressure and contributed 11.11 percentage points, according to an analysis of National Bureau of Statistics Consumer Price Index data.
