FG, states target cheaper transport fares with CNG bus rollout

The Federal Government and state governors plan to establish a joint committee to support cheaper transportation through Compressed Natural Gas bus deployment. The initiative is scheduled to translate lower CNG costs into reduced fares nationwide from October 1, 2026.
