FG spends N358.3bn on electricity subsidy in Q1 2026 – NERC

The Federal Government of Nigeria incurred an electricity tariff subsidy of 358.32 billion Naira in the first quarter of 2026, according to the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, to cover the gap between cost-reflective tariffs and consumer rates.
