FG orders payment of civil servants’ outstanding wage award before August 15

The Federal Government has directed payment of two months of outstanding wage awards to federal civil servants by August 15, 2026. The report says a 40% allowance and promotion arrears will be paid later, following discussions involving the Finance Ministry and organised labour.
