FG: No evidence we spent N8trn outside approved budget

The Federal Government of Nigeria has denied allegations of spending over eight trillion Naira outside the approved budget. The denial follows claims by the International Monetary Fund that off-budget spending reached approximately two percent of the nation's gross domestic product in 2025.
