FG launches 2026–2030 alcohol policy to curb health, social harm

The Federal Government has launched the Nigeria Alcohol Policy and its Multisectoral Implementation Plan for 2026–2030. The framework establishes national guidelines for alcohol production, distribution, marketing and consumption, with the stated aim of reducing associated health, social and economic harms.
