FG Launches $1bn Social Protection Project To Move Nigerians Beyond Palliatives

The federal government has launched the $1 billion Household Prosperity and Empowerment Social Protection Project, known as HOPE-SP, to support vulnerable Nigerians through longer-term economic empowerment and self-reliance. The project was unveiled alongside four other initiatives focused on strengthening the country’s humanitarian response.
