FG eyes 8,000MW as power sector reform deepens

The Federal Government is targeting 8,000 megawatts of electricity generation and transmission capacity by the end of 2027 as power-sector reforms deepen. The plan was disclosed at the launch of the Renewable Energy Assets Management Company in Abuja and relates to Nigeria’s electricity supply outlook.
