FG Considers Deploying Mini-Grids Along Corridors Without Adequate Transmission Facility

The Federal Government is considering deploying renewable-energy mini-grids along corridors with inadequate transmission infrastructure. The initiative is intended to improve electricity reliability, support areas affected by transmission gaps, and strengthen the role of renewable energy in Nigeria’s power mix through the Renewable Asset Management Company.
