Federal Govt Suspends New Internet, Digital Platform Regulations

The Federal Government of Nigeria has suspended the implementation of recently introduced regulations for internet platforms and online intermediaries. Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, directed regulators to halt enforcement pending the development of a harmonized national policy framework.
