Federal Government Signs $1.3bn Delta Steel Plant Deal, Eyes 20,000 Jobs

The Federal Government has signed a $1.3 billion agreement with Premium Steel and Mines Limited to rehabilitate and modernise the former Delta Steel Company in Delta State. The project is expected to attract substantial investment and create more than 20,000 jobs, with potential relevance to Nigeria’s industrial goods sector.
