Fast‑track Development, Honour Host Community Obligations, NUPRC Tells New PPL Holders

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission has directed newly licensed petroleum prospecting firms to accelerate the development of their assets. The regulator warned that failure to meet work programmes and host community obligations could lead to regulatory enforcement under the Petroleum Industry Act.
