Elumelu quits as UBA chairman; Nnorom takes over

United Bank for Africa Plc has announced the retirement of its Group Chairman, Tony O. Elumelu, effective August 21, 2026, following the completion of his twelve-year tenure. Emmanuel N. Nnorom, a non-executive director on the board, has been appointed to succeed him.
