Domestic air travel fare rises 20.8% in May

The National Bureau of Statistics reports that the average domestic air travel fare in Nigeria increased by 20.8 percent year-on-year to N157,552 in May 2026, up from N130,361 in May 2025, reflecting rising transport costs across the federation.
