Discos’ Revenue Recovery Slips In May Amid N208.15bn Collection

Nigeria’s electricity distribution companies recorded a 77.31 per cent revenue recovery rate in May 2026, collecting N208.15 billion from billed consumers. NERC said the result occurred alongside an allowed average tariff of N124.39 per kilowatt-hour, while the average amount collected was N96.16 per kilowatt-hour.
