DisCos recover N597.6 billion despite grid collapses, post second-highest quarterly collection in five quarters

Nigeria's electricity distribution companies recovered N597.56 billion in revenue from customer billing during the first quarter of 2026. This performance represents the second-highest quarterly collection recorded in five quarters, despite a marginal 0.41 percent decline in collection efficiency.
