DisCos record N159 billion revenue loss as bill collection drops in Q1 2026

Nigerian electricity distribution companies experienced a revenue collection decline in the first quarter of 2026, collecting N597.56 billion out of N756.93 billion billed. This left an uncollected balance of N159 billion as overall collection efficiency dropped to 78.95 percent.
